Cheap but reliable
The Mazda3 Sport is a nice, clean-looking, reliable, and cheap car for anyone looking for a brand-new vehicle to purchase. I've mostly used it for city travel and have little no problems with it in the 11 months I've owned it. There has been a couple of times where the tire gauge has gone off already, which is a bit of concern, but the dealership was able to take care of any problems rather quickly. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. While I wish the car had a little more torque on take off, this can be solved by keeping it in sport mode. But for the price, it would be hard to beat the quality of this vehicle.

Comfy sedan with good mileage, with some drawbacks.
I like the gas mileage. The 4 cylinder engine does not generate a lot of horsepower, but I can get around 27 mpg on average. The air conditioner blows icy cold in the summer and the heater is quick to heat up in the winter. The heater fans emit a high-pitch noise on the higher levels, which can be irritating at times. The build quality of the vehicle does not feel quite as solid as other vehicles. For instance, the doors feel very light and almost hollow and not rigid. I hear rattling in the trunk often during city driving, but this usually goes away at higher speeds. This model comes with a moon roof and a sunroof as well, which makes for nice airflow during mild weather conditions. Driving on the freeway is fairly quiet, though it can be improved through better tires. The Bluetooth radio is nice feature if you want to connect your phone for music or directions. It has buttons on the steering wheel to answer calls, hang up, and change tracks. It is a bit cumbersome to set up however. The audio speakers in the car are decent, but audiophiles may be disappointed with the bass output. The two back seats are bit crowded, so I would not recommend any road trips with more than two passengers. The back seats do fold down however, which is opens up plenty of extra storage space in the trunk. The front seats are very spacious and quite comfortable. I bought this vehicle to replace my 2001 Honda Accord Coupe, and I am pleased with the better mileage and the ample space and leg room and the newer amenities it has. However, the Honda was the noticeably sturdier, heavier and more durable vehicle despite being a decade older. I still feel as though I would be safer in a car wreck in my old Honda than this Mazda. Overall, the Mazda 3 meets my basic daily commuter needs by providing good mileage, a reliable HVAC system, ample space, and a Bluetooth audio connection, but there are some compromises made in the design and build quality that I fear will not hold up over the years I plan to own this vehicle.

The people that worked there were SOOO helpful! They had a lot of different choices to choose from, whether new or used. I like how they took us on a golf cart and drove us around their lot to look at all our options, in our price range only, not making us feel bad that we couldn't afford anything more. There was no pressure either. They also make you super comfortable with refreshments and cookies!
