I bought a 2010 Hyundai Elantra in 2012. I liked the estimated mpg of 30 on highway. It gets decent mileage in the city, but living in a rural area, the higher mpgs on the highway was a plus for me. It's a lightweight car, and perfectly fits myself and my husband. I like the storage in the trunk area, however the back seat is small. It is great to have four doors instead of two for storage and toting groceries. I like the sound system, and the car handles well. The cruise control is great! I don't like the finish on the door handles, but I like the interior color of the trim. Another bad thing is accidentally putting the car shift into low gear while on the freeway. You can literally bump the shift lever and it will shift into low. I don't like the finish on the knobs, but I like the trunk design. I like the front layout of the radio, CD, and cup holder. I would like another cup holder in the front. The radio is about what I expect from a car, but the speakers could be slightly better quality. Also a temperature display would be nice. The color is alright. I like the upholstery in the car, it's soft. I would have preferred leather, but for the price it is fine as is. I like the design and feel of the steering wheel.

Good mileage and very reliable. Only basic maintenance and runs well (we drove one up to 120,000 miles with only minor repairs). Hugs the road in rough weather (quite well for a basic sedan). Comes in great colors and the paint holds up well. Interior is serviceable, though not high end, and is roomy and comfortable. Was even able to stand up to Idaho snow!
