Love it!
The 2014 Ford Focus ST is a truly great car. Ford came up with the Focus many years ago, but they wanted to make it better. So Ford took the Focus to their Global Performance Vehicles Team, and they sent it over seas to the U.K. And went to work. They Started by removing the factory engine and replacing it with a 2.0 Liter, inline four cylinder engine made by Volvo. But that's not all! The Global Performance team also slapped on a turbo charger that puts out over 20 PSI of boost! Then after adding the essential for a turbocharged engine (Intercooler, larger air intake, etc), the team did some major updates to the suspension and steering. The steering is now an electric assisted, variable ratio, steering system that took just over one wheel turn to lock. After the performance team finished their upgrade to the exterior, they decided to throw in a full set of Recaro sport bucket seats with some of the most aggressive bolsters! That car will hold you tight even if you rolled it! When the Performance team was finished with their upgrades, the Ford Focus ST was upgraded to 252 horsepower with 270 pound foot torque linked to a smooth, yet rugged, six speed manual transmission car.

Great inexpensive car
Overall I really enjoyed this car. I have always kind of liked the hatchbacks and this 2 door Focus really was a good one. I had a manual gear box and a 2.0L engine. The gas mileage for the car was good (but I tended to keep my foot down.) Where I live we get a lot of snow in the winter and it did well (matched with the manual) at getting around even in snow several inches deep. The car handled well, took corners smoothly, had great power also. There was plenty of room in the back for adults, the trunk had lots of room and could remove the top of it for storing larger things. I think this car was great for 20 year old me and I never had any service issues with it and I have 100k miles. This car also has a nice following for aftermarket parts. You can do a lot of various things to the car and it all looks great. One of the major things I didn't like about the car though was the lack of ABS.

The person who helped me buy this car was very friendly, very personable. The price was reasonable for what was included. They had no issues replacing the tires and spark plug wires like I requested. Helped me get into a car as quickly as possible, just like I needed. Overall, a great experience.
