2016 Mazda Mazda3 - Most fun to drive at this price point.
One of my favorite things about this vehicle is how it handles. My first car ever was a mustang, so I learned to drive in a sportier car. The cars I have driven since then have not been as sporty, so once I got behind the wheel of my Mazda3, I knew it was the one I wanted to buy. Not only does it handle incredibly but it can actually accelerate when needed. The other vehicles in the same price range just did not grab me the way this one did. I recently purchased this used with ~3,000 miles on it.
Story
I think the most fun I've had is actually letting other people drive my car. I think they are surprised at how well a care of it's caliber drives.
Pros
The handling and acceleration on the vehicle are excellent. It really feels like a sports car driving it (obviously it isn't as great as an actual sports car, but it's a nice substitute). I also got the Touring trim, so the cross traffic alert monitoring on the vehicle is very nice when using the rearview camera. Also, I didn't realize how much I would enjoy having blind spot monitoring. The electronic controls on the steering wheel are also nice. The driver's seat is incredibly comfortable. I just took it on a 2 hour drive last weekend and had no discomfort.
Cons
I don't like that the touchscreen display cannot be used when the vehicle is moving. While I understand this is for safety reasons, I feel that a passenger should still be able to access the touch screen feature as well. I also think the actual software on the electronic screen is a bit basic, but there are tradeoffs with any vehicle. There is also a warning that pops up literally every time that I drive that requests to be dismissed.
2015 Mazda Mazda3 - The best car I could have bought.
When you're shopping for a compact car, things like fuel economy, reliability, and overall value are probably near the top of your priorities list. Most modern compact cars meet those standards, though. So for a ride with all that plus some extra personality, you'll definitely want to consider the 2015 Mazda 3. First and foremost, the Mazda 3 is a great choice for any compact-car shopper who enjoys driving. Strong acceleration, sharp steering and a well-tuned suspension make the 3 truly come alive when you want it to, even if it's just zipping around town for errands. The 3 can seem special in other ways, too. The exterior has a distinctive yet classy look to it, and Mazda offers many advanced features that you can't get on other small cars, including adaptive cruise control, collision... (more)
Story
I went to a vacation club with my family in this car and the memory is pretty fun and memorable because we were all having fun and telling jokes so that is primarily the best memory I have with this car.
Pros
Precise handling, very good fuel economy, quick acceleration, top crash safety scores, refined interior with intuitive controls, available hatchback body style, and many advanced features are available.
Cons
Stiff ride with larger wheels and tires. Not as quiet as some other top rivals.

El Paso, TX Dealer Ratings & Reviews

2010 Mazda Mazda3 -
It was the only Mazda dealership in town. They did provide good service without being pushy though. They considered my preferences and even looked at other dealerships for the car I wanted. They traveled to retrieve my car for me.
2010 Mazda Mazda3 - Roger Beasley Mazda Georgetown
This dealer was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and there wasn't a lot of pressure. I feel like the sales man really listened to my needs and pointed me to a car that fit my life style and budget.
