2016 Chevrolet Sonic - Reliable, comfortable, and a good family car.
I like that it's a good vehicle to drive, and it keeps my child safe. It has good comfortable seats that provide comfort for multiple hours. It's also easy to drive.
Story
We would often buy Sonic every weekend, and it's comfortable to wait for it there.
Pros
I like that it drives easily and comfortably shift. It also seems to have a lot of storage to use and can carry a lot of bags.
Cons
I wish it had more legroom.
2013 Chevrolet Sonic - How Chevy won me over.
The mechanical performance was surprising considering the price of the vehicle and how it was advertised as an entry line model. The sharp and intricate front headlight/bumper design gives the car a different look and an edge over sedans from competing brands. Considering how small the vehicle is it has an extremely big trunk which comes in handy for camping trips. The car itself has enough extras for my tastes with satellite radio options, Bluetooth capability, a CD player, OnStar and cruise control. The pleasant surprises came in the form of remote start built in and a turbo engine. Both complete the driving experience and make it a very fun car to drive. Story
During a snow/ice storm in the area in the middle of the work day we were sent home for the day so I was able to remote start my vehicle from my desk to let it warm up from the cold weather.
Pros
I enjoy the interior in terms of color scheme and set up. The built in OnStar is entirely useful and comes in handy. My absolute most enjoyable feature that came as a surprise is the turbo engine and how it performs. Also, remote start is a feature I wont be able to let go.
Cons
The oil requires a synthetic blend which requires specialized oil and filters which can make oil changes extremely expensive depending on where I get my vehicle serviced. During a tiny hit and run fender bender where I had to replace the front bumper and left turn signal I learned that the turn signal lights are connected to the head lights as one whole piece and therefore had to be replaced in full.

There was no hassle dealing. The salesman was courteous, helpful and went beyond the call of duty to provide us with the exact car we wanted. We did not have to haggle the price with an unknown person in another room. The car lot was full of great cars for us to choose from with good prices.
