My vehicle was purchased brand new in 2010 from a dealership. We got ripped off as far as price goes, so that was a definite dislike. My husband traded in his old truck for this car so that is the reason I assume we paid a lot more for this car than normal. I love the fact that it rides very smoothly and quietly. For being seven years old, it still rides very nicely. There isn't much road noise. This car has never broken down except for when it needed a new battery and has never overheated. The vehicle has keyless entry and keyless starting, which is nice because I can cool down my car while still leaving it locked. The interior is cloth and with children that is hard to keep clean so that has been a dislike of mine. I also like that there are controls on the steering wheel for the ste... (more)
Story
My car has been on many trips with my kids and I. One time we couldn't find it at a concert. We forgot where we parked and literally walked all around the lot thinking someone stole it!
Pros
Keyless start (push button start). Comfortable seats. Low road noise. Doors feel durable when opening and closing. Has some updated technology. Lots of storage and cup holders. Runs great at almost 100K miles. Hasn't cost a lot of money in upkeep.
Cons
Doesn't have latest technology like back-up cameras or DVD players. Isn't large enough for three car seats. Is almost eight years old. Price of car vs. resale price.

The Nissan Altima is a great vehicle at a good price point. It's a nice small-sized car that is really sturdy. It is powerful for its size.
Story
I remember driving my dog to the pet store when I got my car. It was one of my first trips with her, and it was great.
Pros
The great thing about this vehicle is how sturdy it is. I have been in an accident where I got rear-ended, and there was not a single scratch from that one accident. However, I have scraped it before, and there are multiple scratches (my fault). There is also no need for a key. The push to start button is amazing. My car is 11 years old and has around 114k miles on it, but it is still running like a champ. I do not have to go bring it in for repairs, and I bought the car used.
Cons
I wish the gas mileage was a little better. It is definitely not a good car for stop-and-go traffic. I drive an average of 30 miles a day to work/school. The shape of the car is also something I'm not a big fan of. It is a little awkward looking, but it's not a big deal. The car is small sized, so it is not really roomy either. My boyfriend is tall, and he does not fit well in the passenger seat. Also, the windshields are kind of annoying. It fogs up really easily, and even using the defroster does not help much.

This dealership was friendly, to say the least, and not pushy. I told them I wanted to look at Altimas, and that I wasn't looking to buy new. They told me I was making a great choice to get a used one, and showed me all the used Altimas they had, and told me prices. I told them how much I wanted to pay, and the salesperson didn't even talk to his boss or pull any of the typical car salesman shady tactics - he told me he could do that for me, and led me to sign paperwork immediately!

I originally came in trying to participate in the "cash 4 clunkers" deal. They originally told me my old car did qualify for the program. They had me do all the paper work and stuff and I drove home with my new car. They called me back a few days later saying that I wouldn't be able to get the cash for clunkers deal for my car and that I would now owe an additional 4500$ on my loan. This was unacceptable to me and I brought my father who is an attorney to come assist me to resolve this. They ended up giving me close to cost on the car and I ended up just keeping it. I was pretty upset but overall they tried they're best to help.
