The quality of this car is great, but it is not functional in that the parts for it are either too difficult to find or rather expensive. My husband is a mechanic, and he has struggled to fix the car when it breaks down, and not only that, but he always encounters problems. It has been a nightmare to own and has broken down on us a couple of times. What I do like about it, however, is the design. It is rather sleek and a low maintenance color that we have enjoyed.
Story
This is the car we had when we got our dog Piper, and it is perfect to move our two dogs around in.
Pros
I like how the car is built over all. I don't know much about cars, but every part of the car seems to be very sturdy despite the use we get out of it, and not much of the outside has deteriorated. Also, when you are driving on the highway, you can't hear many outside noises. It makes it so that you don't feel like you're going 60-70 miles per hour. Also, the style of it is not too bad looking. New, I'm sure it was not a bad looking car.
Cons
The fuel economy of this car is not the best. There are many other cars that have a much better fuel economy and are also more reliable. Also, because it has broken down on us a couple times, it is not the most reliable when you are trying to commute back and forth to work in California. Another negative is that the fixing of the car has been a hassle, and it is because Volkswagen builds its cars to only last a couple years just to be replaced. This is not convenient for people like us that like to save money.

I originally purchased this vehicle because of rising gas prices and how good it was with fuel efficiency. It gets about 27 miles per gallon, which was quite an increase from my previous vehicle. I had always thought of European cars having very high quality in their make, and this has been the case since I purchased this car. I've had it for almost four years now and have had no malfunctions or troubles with it whatsoever. The price was very reasonable as well and felt like I got a lot of value out of what I paid for it. As opposed to other vehicles I'd owned that were expensive, the value of the car depreciated very quickly. My daughter, who is three years old, can very comfortably sit in her car seat in the back, even when there is someone occupying the seat in front of her.
Story
I took it on a three-hour road trip to another city by myself, and it felt good to have so much room inside and was a relaxing ride because of the way the car handles.
Pros
I really like the way the vehicle handles. It is able to take turns well, even though it is not a sports car. It also has good acceleration and a nice top speed when you need to open it up on the highway. The body of the vehicle has a sleek and sophisticated look, even though it is not a luxury vehicle.
Cons
The biggest drawback of the vehicle is that because it's a European car, it can get expensive when there needs to be maintenance done on it. I typically will pay $100 for an oil change. While I haven't had any major defects happen with it, I know I'll be having to take it to a specialty place to have it worked on, which will be quite pricey. While it does offer a lot of room in the vehicle, it does not have some of the same abilities of my previous vehicle, which was a truck. I miss that truck.

I was recommended this dealership from a friend when I mentioned I wanted to buy my wife a car. It was very quick and easy to make the purchase. I did not feel pressured at all. I was able to show up and browse on my own, leave with out being hassled, and then return to purchase the car.
