The Nissan Frontier is a quality vehicle that gave me very few, if any, problems. I have put about 40,000 miles on it over the last four years and have not had any major problems or failures. I really like how comfortable it is to drive, it feels more like a car than a truck. I also like the high towing capacity, it allows me to tow my boat to the lake no problem. It also has the highest HP rating compared to similar sized trucks. The build quality is good for a truck, and the inside is very quiet and durable.
Story
I drove my truck to the Oregon coast and back. With the A/C on the entire time, it achieved about 18 MPG, which is pretty good considering it was loaded with stuff.
Pros
Power and reliability are my favorite things about this truck. The fact that it hasn't had any major failures is huge to me. Dealing with a broken down car is a huge hassle and even though I bought an extended warranty, I have never had to use it.
Cons
The electronics are a bit lacking, but I also did not get the more expensive trim package. The lower packages do not come with as many gadgets as similar trucks.

2002 Nissan Frontier - Dependable, sporty, useful, great in the snow.

This truck is great because it gives you the joy of a truck and the usefulness of a car. The back seat is small, but works in a pinch. With the choice of having the canopy on or off the truck, I have a lot of options. When I comes to driving in the snow, it is the best. Towing, not problem, I can tow my travel trailer with it and my boat. Reliable and dependable with the added zip of being off road and 4 wheel drive.
Story
Every year I take my truck to the boat races, pack the bed of the truck with people, crank the music and cruises the race park.
Pros
It has 4 wheel drive, power windows work, there is a back seat, great tow package, air conditioning and heater working great, great stereo.
Cons
It has a very small back seat that is hard to fit into for the bigger person. It does not get very good gas mileage.
