When I picked this vehicle, I was desperate and didn't have much money or income to be choosy. It was a previous lease, but still had 30,000+ remaining on its warranty, so having a high mile warranty is a plus about this car. It's cute and compact, and it's gotten be safely to work and school for the past two or three years. I love the mileage: can't complain about getting nearly 40 miles per gallon in a regular non-hybrid car. I like that there's decent space in the back seat and trunk, it's not super compact like some cars are nowadays. But there are plenty of things that I don't like about it too. The horsepower must be quite low, because it's a very slow accelerating car. This can be frustrating, especially when merging on the highway with impatient drivers behind me. It's very lig... (more)
Story
Once I was extremely tired driving home from my grandparents' house when the roads were slick, didn't think I could make it home safely and didn't want to risk getting into an accident. So I pulled into a department store parking lot, locked my doors, and laid the driver seat back so I could take a quick nap. When I woke up, it had become nighttime very quickly and was so confused at first bec... (more)
Pros
Mileage is fantastic! About 38-40 MPG is something I can definitely appreciate about this car. It's attractive in looks too, not that it should matter much of course. There's plenty of trunk space and room to comfortably transport even adults in the back seat if I needed too. Most of all, it was the right price and came with an existing 30k miles left on the warranty. That was my selling point.
Cons
I hate how slow it is to accelerate, and it's even weird going up hills so I avoid those. The air conditioner is odd and my car hums funny when it's on (but it came that way, it's not like its a problem with the A/C unit). It's very light so windy conditions are very precarious, and driving past semi trucks on the highway is nerve-wracking sometimes.

What I like about this vehicle is its durability overall. I drive this car in harsh city weather, and it has driven smoothly since day one. The mileage, without a doubt, is excellent. I am often on the highway for long trips at a time. I had the car body repaired once, and the initial damage is unseen and unnoticed. The car drives smoothly. Another excellent feature for such a light vehicle is how immediate it stops. I feel very safe in this car, despite how lite it is. The car is spacious, easy to clean the interior and can seat plenty of passengers for a small sedan. I know it's a light car, but sometimes on the highway it can really be impacted by high speed wind. This can make me feel nervous at times. I was in one collision at low speed, the car handled the impact well and drove a... (more)
Story
I spent a weekend with my mother driving around Cleveland playing Pokémon Go. Tons of quick picks, stops and park moments. My Nissan got the job done. My mother felt safe, and we explored a good amount of the city on half a tank of gas.
Pros
The size of the vehicle. The breaks. The interior is spacious and easy to clean. The trunk has plenty of room for my needs. Indicator lights are bright and effective. No clear indication of a lot of rust despite driving in a range of weather. Gets amazing mileage both in city and on high way. Easy to navigate small city spaces. Feels safe, even on small collision car absorbed much of the impact. The service guide provided with this vehicle is very helpful. I love the mileage milestone and maintenance sections. Very quiet vehicle.
Cons
It is very light, sometimes feels dangerous on the highway versus heavier vehicles. Car does not accelerate as quickly as I would like. Without weather tires, the car does not handle blizzard-weather well.

The salesman I worked with, Andrew Dauer, was really great. He wasn't pushy and understood that my budget wouldn't allow for upgrades. Everyone there was very low-pressure, and they really helped me out with the paperwork, which was complicated by an out-of-state cosigner. I was able to check out several vehicles in my price range. I feel that everything was explained to me very well.
