2010 Toyota Corolla - My favorite Car
This Toyota Corolla was by far the best choice I could have bought at the time. And although it was a car loan it was easy to pay off in just 2 years. It gets great gas mileage and I really haven't experienced any major issues with the car, there is always bound to be some minor things when owning a car. I've already driven the car about 15,000 miles due to traveling across the United States. It has been extremely reliable for my long road trips. It's a car that maintains a good heating and cooling system as well as a great sound system. The seats are cloth, but still pretty easy to clean (I got grease on them from transporting my bicycle). Story
I took a really long road trip from Ohio to Alaska, through the Rocky Mountains. It was a lot of fun trying to pack so much stuff into my car (including my cat in the backseat). My cat cried the whole way, but my car did amazing for the entire drive. Also, she is a sea-green color and I named her Nessie, because she's my sea-monster.
Pros
It was Pre-owned Certified by Toyota, which means it comes with an extended warranty and met all the requirements of safety and reliability. It was my favorite color (Teal). Also the 6 Disc MP3 CD holder has been amazing to be able to keep tons of music on shuffle play while driving so I can leave the music alone while driving. Great gas mileage (28-32 on average) is saving me tons of money while driving this car in comparison to other cars I have owned. I love that I can hold tons of drinks. Cons
Toyota uses some cheap paint in my opinion as I have some paint already starting to peel off or bubble up. Also the seal on one of my doors has gotten a little loose. The speakers have sometimes made some extra static for no apparent reason. Also, the AUX adapter sometimes shorts out and you have to have it just right for my phone or iPod to play without the speakers fading.
2001 Toyota Corolla - Perfect, low maintenance, cute, good gas mileage
The car had 207,000 miles when I bought it. I have now owned it for seven years, and the car has not needed one single repair. It now has 240,000 miles. The only maintenance has been new tires, windshield wipers, and a battery. I did replace one electric motor for the driver's side window, but mechanically, the car has been great. Actually, it has been one of the best cars I've ever owned. It drives well, and I consider it far above average in performance for the age of the car. It is a light gray color with cloth seats. The back seat folds down if more room is needed for carrying/moving items and placing them in the truck. Speaking of the trunk, it is remarkably large for such a small car. Pros
Radio with CD player, cruise control, automatic, power windows, power outside windows, cloth interior, sun roof, large trunk, low gas mileage, tachometer, nice size glove box, bucket seats, tinted windows, very low maintenance, and running headlights.
Cons
The car may be too small for many people. I would prefer a different color. The car does leak a little oil. It doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the engine, but I do have to add oil every 200 to 300 miles. The back seat area is probably a bit small. The folding seats don't lay down as flat as I think they should or could. The car had a small dent on the front bummer when I bought it.
