I have a 2000 Subaru Legacy sedan that I bought in 2003. I love the car. It is relatively sporty, at least, for a Subaru. It has been very reliable as evidenced by the fact that it is 17 years old and still drives well.
Story
Although some might think a Subaru sedan is too small, it can hold more than one might think. At one point I managed to fit a decent sized Christmas tree into the back seat!
Pros
I love that it is all-wheel drive and goes great in the snow as long as there is six inches or less, as it does sit relatively low to the ground. And it has relatively good gas mileage, considering it is all-wheel drive. The interior of the car, although inexpensive, has held up well (even with a toddler). Even though the small size can be a negative, it is also a positive. If you live in a city and need to find parking, it can fit in spots that other larger vehicles cannot.
Cons
There are of course a few negatives about the car. When I bought it, the speakers in the car did not work well out of one side. After having the original car radio replaced with a CD player/radio, the problem was fixed. For the past five years, the radio only works intermittently, but the CD player still works well. When I had a child, the obvious downside to the car was its size and low back seat. It was hard to get the car seat in and out of the car. Once we switched to a larger car seat that rarely gets moved, it was easier. Although, it's still not as easy as a van/SUV.

I have been the owner of a 2007 Subaru Legacy for five years. Old Blue has about 120,000 miles on it and has never let me down. This is the safest car I have ever owned by far. I never have to worry about it in bad weather. I love the features - the sunroof especially - and have no complaints about the look either. It looks sleek and I'm happy to spend time in it. The quality of this car is incredible. It is reliable, never had a major break down, and never left me stranded. I get good gas mileage, even though I drive in the city!
Story
My friends and I once packed out the Subaru and drove to the beach. The beach was too crowded so we got our beach chairs out and sat in the parking lot next to the car instead. The Subaru had all the space we needed to set up a little "buffet" in the trunk!
Pros
The best thing about the Subaru Legacy has to be its safety ratings. Considering how much time I spend in my car (over 3 hours per day!), it has to be safe and reliable. I never have to worry about bad weather - the Subaru never loses traction, even in terrible snow storms. I feel safe putting my family in the car. As a mother, nothing is more important to me than safety. I also love how reliable it is. I always take care of my car (regular oil changes and check ups) and issues are always diagnosed then before there is a problem. Outside of normal wear and tear, this vehicle has nev... (more)
Cons
I've noticed I get more flat tires in this car than any in the past. I sometimes feel like the car is too low to the ground as well.

I actually had a good experience here. I would rather the place have been in a better location, rather than so far out of the way, but that's beyond the performance ability of the employees. Right? Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and I might even buy from there again. I just wish they were closer. The salesman I worked with was pretty good and I did get a better price than what my goal was. I always start lower than what I'm willing to pay. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the experience and I would recommend it to a friend or family member.

What made this dealership so great? Rob Finta. He's a not a cheating sales guy, wants to help you get into the vehicle you are looking for. Doesn't try to upsell or hassle you. When you are trying to make a vehicle decision he will ask you questions to make you actually think about your needs and what you are looking for instead of trying to put you into the most expensive model on the floor. He is also very quick on responding to any inquiries and provides timely status updates, both before and after the purchase of the vehicle. The service department also goes out of their way to help you with any issues you run.
