Clean facilities with so many different Subaru models to test out. Had lots of advice for first time buyers and patience! Very thorough in explaining the financing and paperwork and even though they didn't have the right color car we wanted, they worked hard to find the right one in the area and bring it to the dealership. Threw in some all weather mats since they didn't have exactly what we were looking for.

It is a great vehicle for mountain and harsh, rugged snowy weather driving when you really need it. It has a great look and runs great after 15 years. Only problems would be map sensor and electronic issues after 50,000 miles. It's an easy to park midsize vehicle with plenty of space. It looks very sporty for an older model.
Story
We took the trip from Colorado to Arizona with two bikes and luggage in the back and it helped us make it over a snowy mountain pass and through the Arizona dessert heat to the Grand Canyon with good highway driving.
Pros
If you select the 4WD option it offers great performance in the Colorado mountain region during heavy snow conditions when you need it for safety. The hatchback and roof rack options add plenty of space for hauling all you need for an outdoor adventure from hiking to skiing to rock climbing. It has a very sleek exterior for such an old model. You can easily fit two bicycles in the back of the car or multiple skis inside not requiring using the roof rack.
Cons
Only cons of the vehicle would be that it isn't very fuel efficient on the open road due to the four-wheel drive. The map sensor tends to have issues after a while leading to worsened gas mileage. The interior begins to look bad if the previous owner did not take care of it. The remote lock does not beep the horn to let you know that it's locked so most times you need to check it manually to be sure it's lock.

This Subaru Outback is a sedan model, which has a sporty look similar to a Lexus sedan at the time. Unfortunately, the car has had just about every part replaced and it's only at 120K miles. The paint job didn't hold up well in Colorado winters and it had to be repainted around 50K. It is good on snow and ice and the heated seats have held up well - a real plus in the winter. The interior held up well but the CD player stopped working around 80K. Despite the repainting there has been little problems with rust and the exterior still looks reasonably good. The sunroof has never leaked and still functions properly, though it was rarely used. I have had to buy new keys and they're difficult to get to work properly. The trunk latch gave out recently and parts were unavailable so they had to... (more)
Story
It's fun driving in the fall on winding mountains roads with the sun roof open, feeling the breeze and warm sun
Pros
Good on snow and ice Heated seats Durable interior Body held up well - no significant rust
Cons
Lots of repairs required All wheel drive requires replacing ALL tires if one is badly damaged Interior isn't very quiet Gas mileage isn't great
