The car is in excellent condition and was replacing another old car, which was in very bad shape. Previous owner had the interiors very clean.
Story
The car replaced an old one with no A/C. The A/C runs great in this car, and in a city like ours, we always laugh.
Pros
For a small engine (four-cylinder), the car is very responsive when needed. Engine is super clean and no leaks of any kind. A/C works great no need to refill coolant. Brakes are easy to install. Suspension is in great shape.
Cons
The only problem is when opening and closing from the inside the locks of the doors. If you open the car with the key from the passenger door, all locks are open. It doesn't happen from the driver. Maybe because of security. But once you open the door (driver), if you close the lock instead of opening them, you need to turn the car on in order the open the rest of the locks. Since this is a family car, sometimes it is "inconvenient."

My 19 year old Toyota Camry may not be the prettiest or youngest gal at the dance but she's reliable, tight, and gets me where I need to be. My Camry has a little over 83,000 miles and has been in a couple of wrecks. The engine is stout and the frame is in great shape. I love that I've never had any major engine work done on her. The metal body has very few minor dents due to the wrecks. The paint has held up over time. The only thing I dislike about it is no CD player or modern electronics. The door locks and windows are manual which give it a very retro feel. Overall a really good car.
Story
It usually hails in the spring time in the DFW area but for some reason my Camry doesn't get any dents. I don't garage it or keep it under a tarp, but for some reason it avoids the battering most other vehicles take.
Pros
The engine is great. Being nearly 20 years old, the engine has held up with no major problems. It was built to last and I love that. The interior hasn't had any work done on it. There are no cracks or fading in the dash. No rips in the fabric seats. The carpet looks new. After the two wrecks to the front end (neither were my fault by the way) the frame held up. I'd almost liken it to an army tank, much to my surprise. Only the front bumper and hood needed to be replaced. Reliable engine, reliable body - what more does one need?
Cons
The only negative things that could be said about my Camry are the lack of electronics. Manual window unrolling gets stale after a while and not having a CD deck or USB ports makes it feel outdated. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons in terms of low mileage, reliability, and tough body.

I had a pretty good experience at Indianapolis Motors. It was my first time purchasing a car, and they walked me through the steps and where very helpful. I would recommend them to first time cat buyers.
