I have driven my 2016 Toyota Prius 3 for almost three years. I bought it primarily for the fuel efficiency, and I'm quite pleased to report that my gas mileage usually exceeds 60 mpg. I drive 400-500 miles per week, so this is important for me! I even get good mileage in the summer while using the air conditioning. I have found that I the Prius is more efficient in the summer, actually. I think this is because in the winter it takes longer for the electric engine to 'warm up'. I believe the Prius is stylish. While this was not an important factor in my purchase decision, it is a nice bonus. It is a bold blue color that stands out and helps me find it in crowded parking lots. The 2016 model was redesigned slightly, making it look a little more sporty than prior Prius models. The seats a... (more)
Story
I get compliments often on the look of my car - due to the unique color. The blue almost looks purple in certain light.
Pros
Fuel efficiency. Upscale look. Roomy interior for a 'small car'.
Cons
Makes a beeping noise when in reverse.

I love the gas efficiency of my Prius. It's nice to get at least 35 miles per gallon and be able to fill up for less than $30. The drawback to having such a smart car is that once the computer malfunctions, you have to take it to the dealership to be fixed. That minimizes most of the self help you can perform with less technological vehicles.
Story
We took a day trip to Charleston with my young niece. Despite the long trip and rough South Carolina roads, we had a very enjoyable trip that we still reminisce about.
Pros
Gas efficiency is a big plus, I've been able to get up to 45 miles per gallon on some trips. I like that the car is quiet and not loud like lots of other vehicles. It's a smaller car, but still very roomy. It rides very comfortable and we can fit 5 people easily on long trips. It's a very safe car, with air bags not only in the front, but on the sides as well. I like the navigation system for the Prius. The smart key feature is another great feature. It's very convenient that the car recognizes the key, without me having to find it in my purse each time. I also really like the feature wher... (more)
Cons
The main drawback is that due to the car being so technologically advanced, it cuts down on the amount of maintenance I can do myself. Most issues now require a trip to the dealership to get resolved.

The sales staff was very friendly and not pushy. They were willing to work with us on price. They honored an internet offer when we mentioned it. They also agreed to fix a few scratches in the paint and provide us with an additional key fob while providing us a loaner car. Financing was quick and painless, the guy we dealt with was very nice. Also they had the car we wanted in our price range when no one else seemed to.

This dealership provided excellent service from the time I walked in the door to the time I picked out a car I'd like to purchase. Everything went smoothly and they were willing to negotiate and work around my concerns with purchasing a car since it was my first time ever actually buying a car I was pretty nervous about the whole process and this was simply wonderful.
