I feel like my 2008 Toyota Prius was made just for me. It is responsive and has great pickup for a hybrid. Of course, the best thing about the Prius is the gas mileage, which you can observe in real-time on the dashboard's touchscreen display. Once you learn how to drive your Prius for optimum gas mileage, it becomes a fun game to try to maximize your mileage.
Story
When I wanted to purchase a Prius, there were none available in my area. I had to have my parents help me find one where they lived, which was 800 miles away. I wired them the money, and they drove the Prius to me. My dad could not believe that he only had to stop once for gas! He didn't want to give me the keys when they got here!
Pros
My favorite feature is the touchscreen display. You definitely feel like you are driving a computer, which is a dream come true for me. The display on the 2008 model is nice and large, and the main screen shows an animation that shows you what proportion of the energy consumed is coming from gas versus electric power at any given moment. This allows you to adjust your driving to use more or less gas. The display also shows you how much juice is available in the hybrid battery, and there are things you can do as a driver, such as letting off the gas and coasting. That will charge the battery.
Cons
The car does not get very good gas mileage in extremely cold or extremely hot weather, as it must use energy to run the heat/AC.

I love my Prius. I got lucky and was able to get one with a sunroof that didn't have leather seats. I may as well start with the gas mileage. I went from paying around $350 a month on gas to $150! That's no small number, since I drive a lot for work. The car rides well to be a small car and it is surprisingly roomy. Our family of 4 fits in it well. The Bluetooth works really well, I don't have people constantly saying they can't hear me anymore like in my last car. The backup camera is very clear and easy to see.
Story
There was a parade going through town and because the car is so small we were able to score a great spot right up front!
Pros
The fuel economy. I love saving so much money on gas. The navigation system is right on point with Google maps even though I hardly ever use the traffic feature. The back hatch is really spacious, we fit 10 bags full of clothes in it the other day. I have had the car for 25,000 miles now and other than tires I've only had to perform oil changes on it.
Cons
The infotainment system is the biggest drawback of the car. It has moments where it isn't very responsive. There are a lot of apps on the car, but none of the ones that I actually would use. Like, there is a Pandora app, but I use Spotify. It uses Bing, I prefer Google. It would be nice if you could customize the apps on the car.

The sales staff was great. They didn't creep around the lot, and gave me my space but were there when I needed them. I had a great test drive and was able to take the car by my mechanic to get it checked out before a hassle free purchase. They gave a great competitive price.

the car buying process was fast. They had a large selection of used and new cars. They not only had used and new Toyota vehicles, they also had other make vehicles to choose from. The inside of the dealership was spacious and clean. the environment inside was comfortable and cool. The prices of the vehicles were clearly marked with large letters.
