Peppy But Not Comfy.
What I like best about my Toyota Rav4 is the power it has to go around and pass other cars on the freeway. I also like that it hasn't required any repair work since I purchased it. I like the way it handles itself in the snow and ice & the clearance it has for when I go off road with it. My biggest complaint would be the comfort factor. I feel there is not enough room in the seat to go for long car trips and also it feels cramped getting in and out of the vehicle. My Toyota Rav4 has features I'm not even sure how to use properly even after reading the owner's manual. I like the placement of the spare tire, there is no need to take everything out of the back of the Rav4 to get to the spare tire. I would also like for there to be separate controls for the heat and air conditioning in the back seat. The space in the middle part of the back seat is so limited that an adult cannot fit there comfortably. So basically instead of a five person vehicle it is actually four person seating at the most. I do love the hidden cargo area in the rear of the vehicle, it gives me a place to store my purse or other valuables when out hiking, running errands, etc. but due to how uncomfortable the rides are I will not be purchasing this vehicle again in the future & I am also not happy with the gas mileage the vehicle gets.

Great zip, but forget comfort
I enjoy the power the engine has to get around in traffic. It feels peppy and can handle any kind of terrain I've taken it on thus far. I appreciate the fact that the seats all fold down to make it more versatile for hauling larger items. The dependability of this vehicle has to be commented on. I have not experienced any type of mechanical breakdown even though I am driving a high mileage vehicle now. I also love being able to open the sunroof on nice days. With that being said, the lack of comfort on trips is a huge negative for me. The seats themselves are very uncomfortable for extended trips. Also trying to fit a third person in the back seat is near impossible given the location of the seat belts. Every car I have owned prior to this RAV4 has given way more comfort for trips. Also a big negative to me is how loud the interior of the car is on trips from road noise. I have trouble carrying on conversations while driving. I sometimes have to turn up the radio quite loud just to hear the music on the radio.
