The was very affordable as it was purchased with 35k miles on it. It was very spacious and family friendly. We have a large family with small kids. Buying a big car that had sliding rear doors was perfect for us. Anyone with kids will tell you that trying to put a car seat in a car without sliding doors can be a challenge, especially when parked into a tight spot. In addition to the doors the rear captain seats make getting to the third row seats extremely easy. What is also nice is that the rear seat is a stow and go. We like to travel and take family vacations where we drive to the destination. Being able to fold down the rear seat when necessary for additional cargo space is a huge plus. From a safety standpoint this is the first car we have owned that had a large back up camera on ... (more)
Story
Just driving around looking at house for sale before moving. Our kids became so use to us driving around on weekends and grabbing flyers that they began shouting to new houses whenever they would see them.
Pros
The top pros for this vehicle is definitely the space. The first time I drove the car I felt I was in a pilot seat of an air plane. It had plenty of room, arm rests and was very comfortable. The storage for cargo with the stow and go third row has given us ample space for out luggage when going on beach vacations. The sliding doors have been a life saver with the kids, the fact that the keys have the ability to open the doors from afar is excellent because the kids are able to get in the car and start buckling up without having to wait for us to unlock and open the doors. Our version also ... (more)
Cons
Negatives are the gas mileage. as we move towards a more eco friendly world this van does not perform gas wise as well as we would like. The technology in the car as far as entertainment is lacking. Would like have seen a more stylish audio dashboard with touchscreens or better lighting. The car still has an old school lighter charger which no one uses these days, it does have a USB jack but only one and with a car full of IPhone and iPad that solo charger becomes a hot commodity.

I love my van. I am very happy with the pick up that it has. I love the features including a back-up camera. My kids seems to be very happy with the leg room in the back of the van. I would have liked a darker color for the interior, but it was all the dealership had at the time. I also think that Toyotas in general are a pretty expensive brand to buy, and this was my first Toyota, but so far, it has been worth it. The air conditioning works great and seems to be able to get to the entire van with no problem. I get good gas mileage for it being a van. We travel a lot, so good gas mileage is very important. I am in the market for a bike rack for the back of the van but haven't been able to find one that will be easy to put on and off with the shape of the back of the van. I do wish this... (more)
Story
We always take this van on vacation. One of the best trips was driving from Baltimore to Tennessee. The van did great, and my kids were comfortable to entire trip.
Pros
My favorite features of the car are the good gas mileage and the ample amount of leg space in the back of the van (I like how you can move the back seats up and back enough to allow space for larger people in the back seat). I do also like the color of the van (dark gray), and I like that the van lets me know when maintenance is required. Life can get so busy, and sometimes I can forget when I need to bring the van in.
Cons
I am not a big fan of the interior. I think it gets dirty too quickly, but that is all they had available at the dealership at the time.

The salesmen were friendly and very receptive to my requests and needs. I was on a very specific budget and also knew what I wanted to pay for the car. I had some bad experiences with other dealerships (not listening to what I was looking for, pushing a much higher budget and telling me "not to worry about it"). The salesman at Fitzgerald sat down and took the time to talk to me and understand what I was looking for. This made me comfortable and led to an enjoyable experience.

I loved our car buying experience with Carmax! The no-haggle pricing makes the process and much less anxiety-inducing then other dealerships. Our sales person was patient while we test drove 4 vehicles. Once we decided which one we wanted, the purchasing process took less then an hour! We are very happy with our purchase and will buy from them again!
