The 2007 Toyota Sienna is a comfortable, safe, and reliable minivan with a surprising amount of power off the line, a touch of exterior flair, and plenty of space for a family and its stuff. The Sienna is great for drivers who require the people- and cargo-toting versatility a minivan offers, yet want a refined, civilized vehicle. Forbes voices a similar sentiment saying, "If one needs a lot of passenger and cargo room -- and no one would buy a minivan if they didn't -- then the Sienna gets our vote as one terrific family car." Built on a modified Camry platform, the Sienna, reports Motor Trend, is "loaded with many (if not all) of the best features offered by the competitors."
Pros
Good engine power. Comfortable, feature-packed interior. Plenty of versatile space for passengers and cargo.
Cons
Costly options can quickly inflate the sticker price. Poor rear-impact safety scores.

My 2000 Toyota Sienna minivan has over 200,000 miles on it and continues to start and run every single day. For a 17-year old vehicle, it still performs very well. Acceleration is great, and it handles well. I do a lot of mountain driving, so curves and uphill power are very important, and this vehicle does what needs to be done. The four seats in the back of the van are all removable, and I am only five foot one and can remove the seats myself most of the time! I have good visibility with the large windshield, the side, and back windows.
Story
I recently went kayaking at a wildlife refuge. My ten-foot kayak just fits inside my Sienna when the back seats are removed. One end of the kayak was between the two front seats, so it was sort of funny. My friend and I enjoyed a beautiful drive through a hilly forest, then over a gravel road to a large lake, where I had to drive through some wild brushy areas. It was fun.
Pros
I love the electric adjustable driver's seat. This is very important for people who are less than six -feet tall! And very important for shorter gals like myself. This seat is comfortable with nice, firm cushioning and leather upholstery that has lasted through the years. The sun roof operates well too.
Cons
The armrests for the front seats have fallen off, but I guess this is to be expected with an older car. The radio controls are too low and too far to the right, so it is hard to make audio adjustments while driving. And you cannot see the numbers on the radio display, as they are not very bright.

The sales person did not try to show me a lot of different vehicles. I knew what I wanted to look at when I got there. There was not a lot of paperwork to submit. After I submitted my paperwork I was able to go have lunch and return. When I returned, they had everything ready for me to go into finance. The finance process took only 20 minutes and then we were out the door. This was the most streamlined and easiest car purchase I have made in 20 years.
