Used Volkswagen Jetta for Sale in Mobile, AL

I really loved my Jetta. She had lots of get-up-and-go while still being easy on my gasoline budget. I bought her used, with 60k miles on her, and drove her for many years, however, around 120k miles, I went to leave my house, and the transmission wouldn't shift gears. I spend $200 having it towed to the dealership, where it was going to cost approximately $3000 to replace the transmission. Since the car was only worth about $3500 at the time, I couldn't justify doing the work, so I sent her to the junkyard at only 120k miles.

I purchased my vehicle after having driven SUVs for many years. I was attracted to it not only because it is a Volkswagen, but also because, for a sedan, it still maintains a look that doesn't say "I've given up on life, guess I'll drive a car that shows that." I had tested numerous other similar makes and models, but nothing else could shine a light to the Jetta. The only real competition with the Jetta was an older model Audi A4, which was about two years older than the Jetta. Due to the Jetta being slightly newer and it having fewer miles than the Audi A4, I ultimately made the decision to purchase the Jetta.
