Loved my bug.
This New Beetle was my third WV Bug and probably my favorite. It had decent power when driving and had no real mechanical issues except an A/C relay switch once in spite of it having around 51,000 miles on it when I bought it and over 180,000 when I let it go. It was still running strong but due to the miles I drove daily I took over my husband's WV Rabbit which had a lot less on it. I still see it driving around town today, three years later. The New Beetle had heated seats (wonderful in Michigan winters) and a sunroof. With regular oil changes and checkups, it ran great the whole time. There were a few minor problems such as the seal on the trunk of the car and ice buildup behind the front tires but all in all I loved this car and still miss it to this day.

Cute and fun to drive.
The Volkswagen new Beetle is a revival of the classic model. Not as inexpensive as the original; it is still very affordable. Mine is a diesel, which is always fun because it raises eyebrows when they hear a cute little Beetle rumbling like a big truck. It is fairly responsive once you get used to how it drives. There are no problems with how it fits into parking spaces, which is great fun compared to the oversized trucks and SUVs so many other people tool around in.
