Cute and fun to drive
I just recently got my car, so having a newer car is always nice. I like my VW Beetle because it's a small, compact car, so it's easy for me to drive around the city. I also like the interior of the car because it's not leather, which I actually prefer, because leather gets too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I love the way the car looks because it's cute, girly and fun which all suit my personality. It's pretty comfortable for me to drive, the other thing I dislike is that because I'm pretty short (5 foot 3 inches), I have to have my seat as close to the steering wheel as possible, so I can reach the pedals, and be able to push the clutch all the way down. Because of this, my knees are right up against the part of the dash underneath the steering wheel, which makes me uncomfortable because if I were to get into an accident, I feel like my knees would be jammed into my body. So far, I have not had any maintenance issues with the car. The trunk is bigger than I expected it to be, and always has enough room for everything I need to transport. It does have some blind spots, which I wasn't expecting so you need to be cautious, especially when changing lanes. It's fun to drive, because it's a manual. Everything (acceleration, braking and handling) are wonderful. I feel safe and in control while driving it.

Fun but high maintenance
The 2007 VW Beetle is above all a cute and fun ride. At 12 years old, however, it can be a bit high maintenance. I have to take it in at least a couple of times a year for some repair or another. That doesn't count the work a family member has done on it several times a year as well for small jobs such as replacing trim pieces, etc. The seats are comfortable, and there is a lot of headroom. It has a lot of get up and go with good tires on it. The stereo system works well and even gets satellite radio, surprising for such an old car. Of course, I bought it used, so this could be after market equipment. In a fender bender, I was unhurt and even a glass bottle in the area impacted was unbroken, so safety seems high. I find the car fun to drive and wish it would give me either more problems so I could easily decide to let it go, or stop nickel and diming me with small problems. For now, however, I focus on the cute and fun way it gets me around town.
