Arvada, CO Buying Tips
Well Arvada is a border town, what I mean by that is that to the west of the town you have the mountains and the east is Denver and the prairie. The town is very split and depending on the type of person you are is the type of car you'll get. If you want to go to the west you absolutely with no exceptions need a car with 4x4. To the east it is up to you. But I just think it's safe to have 4x4 vehicle just in this state because of all the fun off-roading opportunities you have.
Favorite driving memory
My favorite memory driving in the city is when probably last Christmas when there where basically no cars on the road and not snowing thankfully. You actually got to enjoy the view and take the time you needed to get to point A to point B. There was no stressful hustle and bustle. You could get around raised manholes and large pot holes without being scared to hit another car in the next lane or getting honked at from behind for being slow and cautious around obstacles.
Favorite road
McIntyre. This street is my favorite because for the most part it is unincorporated and has lots of farms and horse stables its just nice to see real land and not just a concrete ugly jungle all the time.

Look for the view. In many places, we have beautiful views of the mountains.
Arvada, CO Buying Tips
There are NO dealerships here, despite the fact that we are a city of over 100,000 people. You will have to go to a neighboring city.
Favorite driving memory
I love this city! Recently my husband and I were out at the grocery, and the darn car would not start. We had a man come up and offer to jump it, but unfortunately we had no cables. A woman who was getting in her car nearby said she could not jump us (her car was small) but she had cables we could use. A third person, who just happened to see our hood up as he went by offered to give us a ride. The cables worked, and we were back on our way in just a few minutes.
Favorite road
Ridge road. I love it because it is in the heart of the city, yet winds through horse farms. It's beautiful.
