Try to schedule your driving for odd hours and just except that the freeways leading into and out of the Denver metro area are going to be jammed packed on the weekends. The infrastructure of the city has not kept pace with the influx of people, so expect congestion.

Roads are often congested. And the drivers are either overly-aggressive (been told that these are all the angry Californians) or high out-of-state pot tourists.
