A Pretty Lemon
The 1985 Chevy Camaro is a very pretty car. It's styling is very sleek. It is very sporty, yet is considered a muscle car. This is probably my most favorite car that I have ever owned. Sadly, it was not always the most reliable. One of the things that I liked most about my 1985 Chevy Camaro was that it looked very sporty. It also sounded really cool, complete with dual exhaust pipes. This was also a very roomy car so that was nice, especially for a sports car. Overall this is also a very comfortable car. The front seats lean all the way back so it can even be slept in. The back seat can either be folded down or raised up, depending on how many passengers there are. Although the Camaro is very roomy, comfortable and pleasing to the eye, mine was in the shop much more often than I would have liked for it to be. The repair costs of taking it to the dealer were very high, even for seemingly simple repairs. The gas mileage for this vehicle is also not the greatest. My Camaro typically only got between 10 and 15 MPG. If you can afford to pay for the gas and don't plan on taking any long uphill journeys, then it is a very fun and easy car to drive. Although it may not accelerate as fast as some of the newer cars, this model sounds very powerful and feels great as it shifts between gears. The steering handles great. It also brakes well, as long as the pads are changed when necessary. While driving my Camaro, I usually always felt safe and in control. The only times I ever felt nervous in this car was when it was overheating and also when the Mass Airflow Sensor failed and caused the engine to "front-fire," thus preventing it from accelerating correctly when the accelerator was pressed. This was a little scary for me when it happened in the middle of an intersection and I was turning in front of traffic. My repair cost for this repair was $700. Also, it turned out to be a wire near the sensor, and not the actual sensor itself.

Sporty and sleek
The car was very sport and sleek. I really enjoyed the cars looks, but it wasn't all that comfortable to sit in as it felt like you were sitting completely on the ground. There was little to no room for people in the backseat. The car was very fast and performed well, when you needed to pass a slow driver on the freeway it would accelerate nice and pass with ease. It had below average gas mileage, maintenance and repair costs were average and seemed fair. I always felt safe with its control
