The Chevy Blazer (1991) is a small yet durable vehicle that is fuel efficient and sturdy. Its light body makes it easy to push(which is good for when it breaks down). The metal body is very tough which was common for cars during those years and its a challenge to damage it, there's very little plastic other than the trim. The inside however is mostly plastic but its held up decently well. The interior however is small and the windshield is as well which wouldn't be a problem if the visors weren't so close to your face and when you do need to use them u can see even less. the gas mileage is pretty nice though and mine has a V6 motor so with its light body it can take off pretty quick.
Story
I remember driving this vehicle on the freeway for the first time(mostly took back roads for safety) but, one day I decided to take it on the freeway feeling it go 65mph was somehow very satisfying to me.
Pros
The Chevy Blazer(1991) is small, fuel efficient, parts for it are relatively cheap. Its metal body is sturdy and it would be a challenge to damage it. The blazer is considered an sub but, without losing its pickup truck looks which is something I admired about the Blazer models from Chevy. Mine has a V6 motor so it can get up and go pretty quick. Despite the front seats being cramped the back seats are pretty roomy and fold down so you can store stuff or even camp out in the back. My model has power windows, mirrors.
Cons
The Interior is small and kind of cramped(and I'm already small). Its has a lot of mechanical issues and if you have the manual one, its gears are so low that shifting this vehicle can be difficult at times. The fuel gauge often breaks and its a known problem for them, fixing the fuel pump can make it work again but only temporarily and you could also replace the sensor but that is also temporary. The sun visor are too close to the face and when you do need to use them they block out half of your view since the windshield is so small.

I bought this vehicle new in 2006 and still have it today. I have had no major mechanical issues with this car. The Chevy blazer has been a great little compact SUV for me. The exterior has held up well. Paint is still in good shape. The headlights are just now beginning to fog up. The interior space is comfortable with space for four/five.
Story
My husband and I took a road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway in this car. We loaded the back with to backpacks and an ice chest and off we went. We stopped at every little rinky dink dive along the way. We ate to much, drank to much and shopped to much, but it is one of our fondest memories.
Pros
It maneuvers well, yet still has the capability to carry luggage, groceries, building supplies etc..... Fuel economy is good for an SUV type vehicle, getting an average of about 25 miles/ gal. on the freeway. The in-line 6 cylinder motor is quick to respond and has plenty of power for this mid size SUV.
Cons
The CD player stopped working after about a year. The Bose system sounds great, but now I have CDs trapped in it forever. Over the last couple of years we have started to have to electrical issues. Windshield wipers only working intermittently. Stereo staying on after the door has been opened and the keys removed.
