This car has held up for quite a while and I had purchased it for my college years as I was commuting back and forth from LA to Long Beach. I have close to 190K miles on my car. I feel very safe in it as I'm much higher than other cars on the road. Visibility is very important to me especially when there is a lot of traffic ahead. I can easily maneuver and parallel park in this vehicle. I feel like the height and dimensions of the vehicle really help me park, as it's high enough to see and then small enough to fit in spots I wouldn't otherwise attempt. I would prefer is the antennae resembled a shark fin, as I have had to bend it and have it held secure under the top rack. I have gone to some underground parking structure and it hits the top of the poles, so I have to protect it from b... (more)
Story
I usually biked from Culver city to Venice beach so I would put two bikes in my car and drive to a certain location to unload my bikes. I really like the space of the vehicle- it's a pleasant feeling also to know I could sleep in it if I had to.
Pros
My car is very reliable, although since I'm trying to run it down to it's core, it's tough to know how much longer it will last. I like how spacious the vehicle is as I can fit two bikes in there at one time and my parents will borrow my car to load up heavy objects, especially chairs or other furniture off the street. It has saved us money from having to rent another plus-sized vehicle. They even fit an electric wheelchair (the kind that doesn't fold up) into my car. I like the quality of the radio as new cars, the radio has more static. My car's engine doesn't make a lot of noise and the... (more)
Cons
I dislike the fact that nuts and bolts are missing from the opening and closing of the trunk door. It's made out of plastic, so some structural loosening has arisen. It kind of lessens the integrity of the car. The middle console is made of plastic and it looks very "cheap." I have leather seats but I would prefer material as it gets too hot in the summer, so I put on a sun-visor year around. Although it doesn't have a lot of power & at times it feels like I'm driving a toy car with it's steering capacity, I feel like I'm more in control of my vehicle. The car is bigger so I have to pay mo... (more)

I love my Toyota Rav-4. It used to be my dads, but he sold it to me on the cheap when he got a new car. It has over 190,000 miles on it, but it runs fine still. I feel comfortable driving my friends around or going on road trips. I used to live in a rural area and had to drive it through the snow. It was good for day trips and skiing. Now I live in a city. Either way, I like it. It's not too big and gets around well. I sit above traffic without feeling like it's a giant Hummer or anything like that. I wish I had the newer model, but the old one holds up well.
Story
I went on a 20,000 mile road trip all over America, and the car did well. We had a flat tire once but that was due to going over a nail. Other than that, we didn't have to worry about it breaking down at all.
Pros
The car holds up well, is easy to maintain, and is cool. It's not too big and not too small. It's comfortable, and I enjoy driving it in the winter and the summer.
Cons
I've had the car for a while now, and it is getting a bit old. I wish it had things like a rear-view camera, and I wish the heat worked better. Overall, the cars holds up well, but after awhile I think it might be time for an upgrade.

This is a huge dealership with a tremendous stock on the lot and ready to go. The staff is friendly. My salesman was very low pressure. He had excellent product knowledge and if he had the model at the price I was looking for, at that time, I know he would have worked with me.

Very friendly sales staff. They were accommodating and very knowledgeable about their cars and could answer all of my questions. Great test drive experience, got to try a couple different makes before settling on the one I wanted. They made the purchasing process very understandable and explained my options for pricing, maintenance packages, etc.
