The GMC terrain is a great family car because it's spacious both in the front and back seats; very easy to install a car seat and remove your child during grocery runs. It's especially comfortable for anyone sitting in the backseat even with a car seat for a toddler or infant. The upgraded trim package is especially good quality and holds up to the wear and tear of a family car. The driver controls are very ergonomic and developed around the driver and passenger. Everything seems to flow and find the right buttons while driving is super easy even without looking directly.
Story
I took this car up north to the Sierra mountains on a fishing trip. We were able to pack a ton of fishing, camping and hunting equipment to the brim in the back storage area and still had a passenger be able to sit comfortably for hours.
Pros
The car is spacious, rugged and overall fun to drive. It's especially great on fuel economy for long drives and holds up well in all weather conditions.
Cons
The downsides of this car are mostly the engine performance and the steering. If you get the 4 cylinder model you'll have to press the gas pretty hard to catch up to freeway speeds at times even with the ECO button turned off. The steering can get a little loose or shaky which makes the SUV feel a little unstable at times.

2015 GMC Terrain - Reliable, sleek and fuel saving.

The GMC terrains is a reliable, spacious and fuel-saving compact SUV. It handles well and has plenty of storage space in the rear area. The SUV is a great family car and perfect for an outdoors person.
Story
One of my favorite memories of this car was taking it up to Northern California on a road trip with my family. It was a long trip, though I saved a ton of gas and even took it off the pavement onto dirt roads.
Pros
The design of the cockpit is meant for maximum convenience for the driver and makes it very comfortable to operate the radio.
Cons
The four-cylinder engine lacks real performance though saves a lot of gas. The steering can be a little loose when driving at high speeds.
