Overall, the interior seems well-thought-out and is very user-friendly. The seats are well-bolstered for comfort, and the interior trim adds a nice-looking touch. Also, there are plenty of small storage compartments to be found throughout the cabin, and there is even a bit that holds bulky Plus-sized smartphones. The center stack has a crisp and clear design, and all knobs and buttons are easy to access while driving. Even before Honda implemented the new global platform, the Pilot was pretty spacious. No matter where you are in the vehicle, you will find that there is more than enough head, shoulder, and leg space
Story
When you're travelling, you are what you are right there and then. People don't have your past to hold against you. No yesterdays on the Beverly Hills city road.
Pros
Since it's so new, the 2016 Honda Pilot's reliability is not yet known. But the related Acura MDX has been glitchy, and car owners have been complaining about the nine-speed automatic employed in the Touring and Elite in a number of different cars.
Cons
The top trims come standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Unfortunately, this transmission often has trouble choosing between gears. The standard transmission actually performs better in real-world driving conditions. If you can forgo the extra features, the lower trim levels may be a bit more enjoyable to drive.

I bought this car after my second child was born. I needed extra space for two car seats and cargo space for gear. In addition to the kids, we also travel with grandparents so needed to be able to take them places with us. The Pilot was everything we needed with the third-row seating. It allowed room to comfortably be able to take the kids in and out of the car. It drove smooth and has an economy fuel setting to save gas. We drove this car everywhere from work commute to long-distance traveling.
Story
We had the opportunity to take nieces and nephews with us to a weekend away at a theme park. We packed everyone in the SUV and still have enough room for luggage in the back. There were no fights about being cramped or being in each other's personal space.
Pros
The third-row seating was one of the main reasons we purchased the SUV. We didn't want to move to a van just yet and wanted the similar space. When not transporting many riders, we keep the third row down and use it for cargo space. Also, when needing to transport anything large, we can push down both back seat rows, and we do not need a truck. The space offering is plenty.
Cons
If I had to pick anything, I would say that since it is a SUV, I am not able to park in narrow spots. I often need to drive further out to get a comfortable spot.

I did the negotiating via email. Setup an appointment time to come by to see the car. After everything checked out, I told them I didn't want any add-ons and wanted to be on the road ASAP. They understood and I was out of the dealership in less than an hour.
