I purchased my current vehicle, a 2007 Honda Pilot used about two years ago. I'd had an SUV at one time previously which I really liked, and was looking for something like it. I'd also owned a couple of Honda Civics in the past and liked how they were reliable and well built. My Pilot did not disappoint. The interior was spacious and used quality materials. The controls, dashboard layout and seating all seemed to fit both my eye and body very well. The ride is smooth and fairly quiet. I often take my niece to soccer practice in it along with her cousin and all their gear, and it has room to spare. Gas mileage is decent, and general maintenance and repairs (the few times it needed any) were reasonably affordable. I also used to drive it each week to Las Vegas (about 500 miles round trip) and it was a great long distance vehicle.

Overall, the interior seems well-thought-out and is very user-friendly. The seats are well-bolstered for comfort, and the interior trim adds a nice-looking touch. Also, there are plenty of small storage compartments to be found throughout the cabin, and there is even a bit that holds bulky Plus-sized smartphones. The center stack has a crisp and clear design, and all knobs and buttons are easy to access while driving. Even before Honda implemented the new global platform, the Pilot was pretty spacious. No matter where you are in the vehicle, you will find that there is more than enough head, shoulder, and leg space
