Odyssey is a good choice for families with many members. With eight seats that comfortably seats five people, it is sold at a price between $30k to $40k. This is around 30% lower than a large SUV with comparable interior space. Odyssey's seats (except for the front row) can be completely taken out or folded to give a large interior cargo space. The vehicle has sufficient power (V6) and reasonable fuel efficiency. A minivan is a minivan. It does not have the same level of maneuverability as a sedan or an SUV. You cannot drive too fast, not because the engine is weak but because you cannot brake in time to stop the vehicle. This means that you must adopt a humble attitude on the road.

The Honda Odyssey is a great car if you to carry around a bunch of kids or carry around a bunch of stuff in general. I bought this car used for around $15000 in 2007, and it is probably the best van I have driven in. There are a lot of good things about this car, but also more than a few bad things.
