I bought the Fit brand new while I was in college and I'm still driving the same car 7 years and 130,000 miles later. I bought the car with fuel efficiency and interior configuration in mind. In those respects, the car has excelled. As for the interior, I’m able to quickly and easily fold down the back seats and passenger seat to accommodate my bike, groceries, pets, etc. It comfortably seats 4 and passably seats 5. In terms of fuel efficiency, I used to have a 30 minute commute each way and was filling up on gas about once a week, which was a marked improvement over my VW Beetle. I loved the minimal, functional styling of the car as opposed to other sub-compacts that were then or are currently on the market. One of my favorite aspects of the car and as the name would suggest, is that ... (more)
Story
I've moved several times while owning my Fit and at one point, I was able to move all of my possessions in two trips in my sturdy little car.
Pros
Easy fold down seats, good fuel economy, styling, ease of parking, turning radius, trunk space
Cons
Throttle issues, quality of interior plastics, A/C takes a long time to cool the car, temperamental tire gauge.

I was amazed by just how large it is on he inside. I ride in the back usually with my son in his forward facing car seat, which leaves me a bit squished in other economy sedan type cars. Here, however, there is so much more width than you could possibly imagine. Also, the trunk area is quite large. We fit everything we need in there, even on bulk shopping days. The front is also fairly spacious. My husband is a larger, taller male and he has just as much room in front as in other sedans. It is great for parking in smaller spaces and is a smooth ride. We live in an area with lots of curvy roads and it takes the turns quite well.
Story
We had forgotten that we purchased a new car and were, of course, wandering around for a good 20 min. looking for our old car before we realized we were standing right in front of it.
Pros
As previously said, the best thing is the unexpected amount of room on the inside - well worth it and still, it is a relatively small car for parking and driving advantages.
Cons
No spare tire. If we were to add a spare, we wouldn't have much room in the back. There is a patch kit but that can be worrisome, especially if the flat isn't one that can be patched.

It's a small dealership and the dealers were very personable, not hard sellers, and within the scope of prices I had previously researched.
