Fit for life
I bought the Fit brand new while I was in college and I'm still driving the same car 7 years and 130,000 miles later. I bought the car with fuel efficiency and interior configuration in mind. In those respects, the car has excelled. As for the interior, I’m able to quickly and easily fold down the back seats and passenger seat to accommodate my bike, groceries, pets, etc. It comfortably seats 4 and passably seats 5. In terms of fuel efficiency, I used to have a 30 minute commute each way and was filling up on gas about once a week, which was a marked improvement over my VW Beetle. I loved the minimal, functional styling of the car as opposed to other sub-compacts that were then or are currently on the market. One of my favorite aspects of the car and as the name would suggest, is that the Fit is very easy to park in tight spaces and has an impressive turning radius. With regard to performance and reliability, I’ve had some minor issues with the car. Chiefly, a problem common among Hondas involving a loose throttle that caused the car to sporadically shut down shortly after ignition. The problem went undiagnosed for a long time but when finally identified, it was a relatively inexpensive fix. Another thing to note, though more of a Honda than Fit specific problem is that the 2008 model has been recalled at least three times throughout my ownership. Other problems with the car have been generally minor and inexpensive. The Fit is zippy for its size and the combined ownership, reliability, economy, and functionality of the car make it an ideal first investment vehicle.

More space and ease than you can imagine
I was amazed by just how large it is on he inside. I ride in the back usually with my son in his forward facing car seat, which leaves me a bit squished in other economy sedan type cars. Here, however, there is so much more width than you could possibly imagine. Also, the trunk area is quite large. We fit everything we need in there, even on bulk shopping days. The front is also fairly spacious. My husband is a larger, taller male and he has just as much room in front as in other sedans. It is great for parking in smaller spaces and is a smooth ride. We live in an area with lots of curvy roads and it takes the turns quite well.

It's a small dealership and the dealers were very personable, not hard sellers, and within the scope of prices I had previously researched.
