A reliable car for casual driving
Starting off with what I really like about the car would be the appearance. Something about the car got my attention, since it doesn't look like any other car that's on the market. It might have little to no features, but it definitely is the car to rely on when it comes to getting from point A to point B. Other than that, the back seat is roomy, and I haven't had any issues with the seat belts or lack of space. The trunk is what got me sold. The back seat can be collapsible to make the trunk much bigger than it already is, making it convenient for the future moving plans that I had in mind when I bought this car. The dashboard of the car makes it easy to read, and the way that the gear selector is placed at a much higher position than most cars also makes it much easier to switch gears when needed. Overall, this would be a car that I would recommend to family and friends. After all, I did get a family member to buy a Nissan Sentra; even if it's from a different year, it still has the reliability that my car has to offer.

Solid mechanically, but details are shoddy.
The styling of the car is fine. It's cute and fun, but nothing too unique or awe inspiring. For a compact sedan, it's pretty comfortable and roomy on the inside, with enough trunk space to fit two roller derby girls. Gas mileage is decent. Apart from a battery dying and the air conditioner failing at six years in, I've experienced very few mechanical issues with the car, although it does whine loudly when going up mountain roads, but I think that has to do with the CVT transmission. Speaking of the CVT transmission, while some people don’t care for this type of transmission because they think it feels sluggish, I did not experience that with the Nissan Sentra. I wouldn’t say that it’s particularly fun or exciting to drive, but it has been responsive. Where the car has been disappointing is in the interior details. Parts started to fall off the interior within weeks of owning the car. Six years into ownership, the air conditioner went out and is cost prohibitive to fix. Overall, it's a fine, if uninspiring car that's just a bit lacking in quality.

Went in there just to look around. Great car selection with all the latest models. Sales guy was very cordial and patient. We walked through my needs and negotiated a very fair price. It was a pleasant experience.
