My thoughts on the 2008 Prius
My 2008 Prius was originally a vehicle that was used as a taxi cab. After coming near to the end of its life and also being involved in a fender bender, my Dad, who owned the cab, took the car out of commission and swapped it with another for use in his taxi. The Prius was given a paint job back to its white color from the yellow it was painted and handed down to us.

Best car I have ever had. Efficient, comfortable, reliable, low-maintenance, versatile.
The reliability is unbelievable. I've done nothing but tires, oil & filter changes & tires during these 180K miles and 10 years. I replaced the spark plugs at 120K miles out of guilt, but I'm not sure they needed it. The front brake pads are now about due, but the rear are still fine. The 12v and traction batteries still seem fine. The fuel efficiency is amazing. I've routinely gotten over 50mpg in my combination of street, highway, and stop-and-go traffic. The car is surprisingly versatile. I can haul lumber, drive on long trips, do my daily commute, and when I go camping I can sleep in the back by folding down the rear seats.

There is always a fresh, hot cup of coffee waiting when I have a morning appointment here. The cordiality and kindness these guys always have is incredible, especially since they have to deal with a ton of aggravated people all day. The service is wonderful and they are very practical, the rates for tire replacements and minor adjustments are not inflated like the majority of other Hollywood dealerships. I have bought two cars from this lot, and they never disappoint with what they provide every time.
