2007 Toyota Tacoma - Great truck, few issues
I love my Toyota Tacoma truck. It's dependable. It has never broken down on me or had a blowout on the road. I like the roomy interior that the 4 doors afford me, as well as the practicality of having a truck bed (short) to haul and move stuff around. I have horses so it's important to have a truck to load and move food and shavings. The only complaints I have really are the interior. After about the third year of owning the truck, after all the warranties expired, things on the main console began to break or quit working. The digital navigational direction display and the temperature don't work and haven't for quite some time. I decided it was too expensive to replace as the whole console above the rearview mirror would have to be replaced. The lights have also gone out in one section... (more)
Story
It's been great going to horse shows and for taking the dogs to the beach.
Pros
Dependable
Easy to care for with regular maintenance
Appearance
Tires
Easy to drive/maneuver/park
Cons
Poor gas mileage, approx. 20 Mpg
Interior electronics did not last, parts/labor are expensive
Cloth seats not durable and/or stain proof and/or cleanable
2000 Toyota Tacoma - Great First Truck
More of a marathon runner than a sprinter. With almost 200,000 miles, the truck is still running strong. The main drive system is in good shape with few issues over the years other than wear and tear on some of the most used parts. Maintenance costs are low and the truck is cheap to fix when it needs work. The truck has plenty of power to haul and get around town. It is a great entry-level truck for light-duty work and will last for many years to come.
Story
You can't have a tailgate without a truck that has a tailgate. This truck has weathered many a college football tailgate. The bed has plenty of room to store a cooler or two, a grill, tables and an easy up. It may be tight to squeeze four people in the cab, but it'll be well worth it, once you get into the stands.
Pros
The truck is very reliable and will last so long as it is well maintained. It has a timeless body style that has yet to go out of style. It has plenty of power for the average person, unless you are trying to tow a large trailer or haul a load of bricks.
Cons
The ride isn't the most comfortable, but then again it is a truck. If it was a little heavier, the ride may be smoother. Also, the gas mileage isn't the best - but at 17 mpg, it is better than some of the full size trucks from around the same era.

1992 Toyota Camry - Valley Hi Toyota Victorville
It made it the best because we trusted this brand of cars. We had bought a Toyota before and we still have to this day nothing has ever happened to it. Also as soon as you walk in they are so respectful and accommodating.
