2010 Chevrolet Cobalt - Amazing
It is amazing. It is aerodynamic and quite comfortable. I can take it on family or business trips. It is versatile, although it is not all terrain but I like it.
Story
On a family trip, one of my children tried to reach one of his toys, and in his attempts, he fell off the seat. It was very fun to watch.
Pros
It is comfortable and versatile for the family. My whole family can go on vacation.
Cons
It is not all terrain, so I cannot go anywhere.
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt - A dream car for the budget conscious.
I love my car. I can honestly say that as someone who has driven quite a few beater cars, I was thrilled to be able to get something on my budget which proved to be reliable. I purchased my Chevy cobalt with 117,000 miles on it and it currently has 143,000 after a year and a half of driving it. Aside from routine maintenance, I find the car to be quite sturdy and reliable. It is a bit on the generic side as far as it comes to the design, but I appreciate the reliability and the fact that it still holds up as far as being an attractive vehicle. I don't feel like it looks like an ancient Cutlass Supreme on the road. It blends in. It is a surprisingly smooth ride for a smaller car and has been incredibly safe in the winter time. In fact, it was safer than my previous Mercury Sable! I have... (more)
Story
The first time I took my car on a 200 mile (round trip) journey, I was so enthralled! I loved the way the car handled the traffic and zipped along pleasantly. It was just such a great experience to just drive with my music blasting. One of my favorite activities is taking long drives in this car. I always feel so comfortable in my seat and love the ride.
Pros
It is such a smooth ride and it is inexpensive to maintain. I love that I am never breaking the bank when it comes to getting new tires, oil changes, or even just filling it up with gas. I hate when you spend a lot of money on a car and then you have to keep spending more to maintain it. It's an American made vehicle that has a long line of approval behind it. I can honestly say that I have never felt safer in a vehicle. It has been a dream the two winters that I have had it, which says a lot, considering how brutal New York can be in the winter time. I have never had any traction control ... (more)
Cons
To be honest, I do feel there are some features in this vehicle that denote how it was more cheaply made. Unfortunately, the cruise control button doesn't always work. You have to press it several times to get it to come to life. In the past few months I have noticed that my lock button has not been as efficient. I have to press it several times to get it to work, as well. I purchased my Chevy cobalt with a broken alarm, so I am unable to use the remote unlock feature and I do miss having that. So they are minor things that I believe come with the longevity of the vehicle. It is now 10 yea... (more)
