The s10 is a great little work horse I've used it for years and its still going strong. It has everything a person could need in a small truck. It doesn't have many of the fancy luxury additions on the bigger trucks and your not gonna take your family of 4 on a week vacation to Florida in it, but if you need to move the grill to the lake for the weekend the s10 is your truck. The s10 is not a luxury ride that feels like riding on air, its rough and very basic but not to unpleasant. I would say if your looking for a good little truck the s10 is definitely a good option.

Pros
The s10 is a good all around little truck. It hauls plenty of weight for its size. It looks small but packs a punch. The 2.8L motor is powerful enough to pull a golf cart to the course or haul a sofa and recliner to your buddy's new apartment. It climbs hills reserved for 4x4s and often makes the big trucks look sad stuck in the mud. The cabin is large enough for two grown and their hunting gear while the bed is just large enough to hold all the fishing and camping gear for the weekend.
Cons
The s10 is a great truck however pay close attention to where the next gas station is located because this small beast is not gonna get you big saving at the pump. The cabin however large enough for two grown men is not large enough for two grown men and a child. If your looking for race truck this is not it, your not gonna be beating your buddy in the mustang to the next red-light. The factory radio is not something to brag about either so don't expect to pull up to the lake and open the doors and impress your friends.

The truck is the perfect size for my needs. It was the right size to do many things but not too big where I couldn't get anywhere. It has lasted many years with just very few problems. It hasn't been too expensive to maintain.
Story
It is always fun to help a friend tow away stuff to the junk yard. It always ends up in lots of laughs and breakfast afterwards.
Pros
The truck has steel bumpers. It has helped when other cars have backed up into it. No damage to my truck. The seats are comfortable. Having no carpeting has been a plus. Just wipe out the dirt. It is easy to drive with the manual stick.
Cons
The V6 engine makes it a real gas guzzler for being such a small vehicle. The lack of power windows and locks were a bummer. Also, there was only a radio and no tape or cd player. There was hardly any space in the cab area for another individual. The brakes don't keep the truck from rolling. You have to keep it in gear and use the foot brake when parked.

My daughter had chosen her car, but we were not ready to make the down payment. We needed a day or two to get the deposit together. I also live an hour and a half away. Our salesman said he could hold the car for 48 hours. Without money in hand He would have to release the car. I got the deposit ready, the car was sitting there just as he said. My daughter loves her new car and we will surely com back!
