2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Great truck with lots of power and will last you a while.
The Silverado's crew cab offers plenty of room and easy access to both rows. The instrument panel, central touchscreen, and array of buttons and knobs are attractive, well labeled and easy to use but they look a bit dated compared to more recently redesigned trucks in the class.
Story
I used it to get out to a cabin that was through a mud trail. It was able to get through it all.
Pros
Large windows and a large windshield should mean great forward visibility, but the unnecessarily tall hood is hard to see over and the side mirrors aren't as tall as we'd like. The blind-spot mirror bubble is a nice idea but it's too small to see much. The good and the bad average out. Several available powertrains for various towing/hauling needs. Longer cabin provides excellent rear legroom. Lots of in-bed tie-down points and massive bed capacity. New touchscreen display is attractive and easy to use.
Cons
Interior design and cabin controls seem old compared to rivals. Extra-large center stack takes up lots of cabin space. Quality of some cabin materials is subpar.
2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Great daily drive.
The 2006 Chevy pickup is my daily driver. With it being over ten years old it has no rust, which is great considering we live in Minnesota so about half the year there is salt on the road. The body is in great condition and the engine has almost 200,000 miles on it. We plan on keeping this pickup until it no longer runs as there are no problems with it.
Story
The first time my son saw it he was really excited about it as we had never had a pickup before and it was red, which is his favorite color.
Pros
There hasn’t been any work done on the pickup other than oil changes and normal up keep. The interior is still in great shape as well with no rips or tares on the seats or on the floor. Overall it is a great pickup that we haven’t had to put any money into it.
Cons
The only complaint I have at this time is the breaks are a little worn out, which is probably just the break pads and the lock/window control panel on the driver side door is loose. The driver door also doesn’t close that well, you don’t have to slam it shut but you have to put a little more force into it. Both issues are small issues that are easily fixed.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu - North Country Ford Coon Rapids
They were very helpful. They found a car that worked for me and reduced the price so it would be in my price range. They worked quickly so that I could get to the bank before it closed. They did not try to sell me on anything extra except the extended warranty which I was wondering about anyway. And, they kept everything simple which was nice for a first-timer like me.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro - Suburban Chevrolet Eden Prairie
I was trading in a different car at the time as well. While the salesman wasn't really going to budge on the price of the Camaro, he was able to offer us more than a fair market value for the trade-in which made the total price we paid very reasonable.
