My truck is a 1997 two-door Tahoe, which makes it much shorter than the regular four-door Tahoe. It's a great truck so far! I have only been driving it for about two months now. I bought it with no motor, so I had to put one in. But since putting the motor in, I have had no mechanical issues nor have I had any electronic issues. It has a very good turning radius compared to the Suburban. The fact that it is shorter than a normal Tahoe, makes it much easier to fit in smaller parking spaces. It is also much more easily maneuverable than the four-door Tahoe and the Suburban, which is a plus! I have had no interior rattles until I started taking things apart to put a stereo in. The door handles seem to break easily though. And I believe there was a recall on this model for the pa... (more)
Story
Since I haven't been driving this truck long, the funniest thing I can say about my truck are the looks and the questions people have when I pull up and I jump out of the truck! The door handles are above my head, so people see me jump out and they just look and ask how I get in the truck!!
Pros
My favorite thing about my truck is that it is lifted!! It feels great knowing that I can just run whatever I want over! The power everything is great! Power seats, door locks, windows, and rear hatch makes things much easier!
Cons
Unfortunately, now that I'm getting older, the two door isn't as fun as it used to be! It's hard to get in and out of the back seat with the two-door model!! Because it is lifted so high, I can't open the back of the truck because I am very short! So, that makes things difficult.

I bought this Chevy Tahoe brand new at the dealership and it was a little bit on the pricey side. I also got almost every option that they offered so this also added to the price. My Tahoe came with all leather captains chairs in the front and leather bench seats for the second and third row. The seat in the front were heat and air cooled. The BOSE sound system I upgraded to sounded amazing no matter where you were sitting in the suv. It came with the 5.3 liter Chevy vortec engine coupled with a 4l60e transmission that was automatic 4 speed with overdrive so the Tahoe had more than enough power to go or tow anything or anywhere you could think of. The dash cluster also had a message center that I had never seen before in a vehicle that told me everything that was going on with words in... (more)
Pros
the way it looks. big v8 motor. automatic transmission. all leather seats. cargo room in the back. could fit so many people in this thing. great sounding exhaust
Cons
there was not a single thing I did not like about this Tahoe
