Its Better than Owning a MiniVan
I have owned this vehicle for almost 10 years and bought it brand new from the showroom. It has been a great vehicle for the most part but has had some major repairs in the past few months. I like that it has sliding back doors because I have kids and don't need them hitting the cars we park beside- that's one of my favorite things. I do not like that the tires are performance tires. They don't last as long as traditional tires and are expensive. Fuel economy is not too bad. The car itself has been good I just wish Mazda had more service centers in my area.

Great vehicle!
In general I love this vehicle. It has beautiful lines, and has a smooth ride. The seats are fairly comfortable and there's plenty of leg room in the front. It is one of the only mini-vans that come with a manual transmission, which is a huge bonus. The color choices available could be better. It is a small vehicle, but it fits 6 adults under 6ft rather comfortably.
The gas mileage is wonderful. 25 City and 30 highway, maintenance is fairly cheap, and it's only been in the shop for oil changes.
There's a slight blind spot on the passengers side, an extra mirror on the side view would be wonderful. There's one on the drivers side, and it's amazing.
This van handles like a car. It has a great acceleration, wonderful turning radius and is a blast to drive!
There are tons of safety features, and I feel completely safe in the vehicle.
The biggest issue is the lack of space available for storage. There is barely a foot of room in the trunk, and only four small areas to store things other wise.

reliable, fun
I really like the handling of this car. Its styling is sporty but still reserved enough to feel mature. The interior is extremely comfortable and has more than enough room even for tall passengers. The layout is very open and there is plenty of room in the trunk. Their are practically no blind spots due to the open layout of the vehicle. I have one had to take it to the shop one time for unscheduled maintenance. This was due to the brake system. While this was an expensive fix, it was the only problem that I have had with the vehicle and honestly was due more to neglect than a manufacturing problem. Even the interior has withstood the test of time. There is only one small tear on the bottom of the passengers seat. Everything else still looks brand new. The sun roof hasn't had any repairs done to it and still does not leak. While the paint has some minor fade on the hood, there is no significant rust. Which, considering that I live near the beach, is saying a lot.
