Used Volkswagen Golf for Sale

Although my VW Golf is an older model, it still gets along just like it was new. It is easy to drive, easy to maintain and easy to love. I have just over 176,000 miles on it and still drive it as a commuting vehicle every day. Even though it has a high mileage, I still get over 20 miles per gallon. I have had very few problems with the exception of the air conditioner, and once the faulty parts were replaced the A/C was as cold as any in newer VW cars. The other thing I like is the handling and suspension. I have no problem going over 35 MPH around a 90 degree turn. The interior is cloth, which is good in hotter states, and is still in good condition. It still gets challenged at stop lights by newer muscle cars, although never any other VWs. The VW Golf has an excellent layout for a two door car. It also has a large enough trunk space I can pack a couple of suitcases or all of my groceries in it without difficulty.

I bought this car used seven years ago. I has served me well for that time. It rides very well on the road and is pretty good in the snow. On top there is a luggage rack perfect for transporting my kayak. The car is economical on gas. It gets up to 30 miles a gallon. The body has help up other than for the usual rust. I lost the power steering a few times, but I do not have a car and it may be due to exposure to temperature extremes. The brakes sometimes need work but are reliable. It is a good car for me as it is small, for single person use, and has a hatchback, which I can use for storage or hauling. This car has lasted longer than I have hoped for.

The 2010 Volkswagen Golf is a totally solid vehicle. She's fun to drive. I have a manual transmission which, in my humble opinion is a major part of the fun. She's extremely responsive, even five years old, or should I say: five-years-young? I'm proud to drive this car. She's got very clean lines, and isn't looking dated. I don't think the car will ever look dated with the proper preventative maintenance that she deserves. I know that there are the many faster, and more gutsier versions of this car, but I am extremely happy with this version. I'm pretty proud and grateful to have been in the Volkswagen family for many years now. I have always leased the cars from VW. This car is the first one I kept. I kept her because I love her. She's German engineered through and through as well as born in Stuttgart. As far as my trips to the VW mechanics - There was the preventative maintenance that was paid for by the manufacturer at first, under warranty. Now I am a stickler about keeping to the scheduled maintenance, even out of warranty. I know she's got many, many, more kilometers ahead of her. These trips to the mechanic were never for anything unscheduled too. This car is solid! I definitely recommend this car.
