The Volkswagen Touareg overall is a comfortable fun to drive vehicle. I still remember the first time I drove it and took a sweeping corner at 30 mph. The handling was so great, there was no push into the corner, no leaning. I was amazed. The car has always been a smooth driver and the seating is very comfortable. This vehicle also tells you everything, low washer fluid, air pressure readings for each tire, how many miles left on your gas tank, fuel usage. I've owned it for more than 4 years and still don't know everything it can do. My only disappointments are the water pump had to be replaced, but it was still under warranty, also, the tires wore more quickly than I would expect, lastly the driver's seat feels like it loses its setting sometimes and has to be adjusted. The gas mileage isn't the greatest, but it isn't the worst either. The car definitely has power although I rarely tested it. The back cargo holder could be a little easier to install/remove. The rear fold down seats provide ample room for moving things. This car is great for long trips due to the comfortable and spacious seating. I also liked the free scheduled maintenance offered by the manufacturer for the first 30,000 miles, plus the car tells you when it's time for that maintenance. Perfect for a busy person. The sound and navigation system is great and very helpful.

The Touareg is a brilliantly made SUV with amazing steering, handling, comfort, and power. The car is a perfect balance between SUV and a family car. My parents bought it used and got a really doable deal on it for our family, and that certainly boosts our view of the car. For the price we got it at the damage is below 5%, no visible damage to the body or interior. The previous owner also serviced it regularly, meaning the car was in perfect tune when we purchased it. The only issues are that the vehicle requires new tires and a fix to the automated moon roof, but it's nothing serious. It was a perfect deal. The power of the car makes the acceleration and top speed compete with some sports cars. It is one of the most powerful SUVs on the road today and certainly the biggest bang for your money. The handling in all weather situations is absolutely amazing and certainly safe in mountain weather. I don't think there's a more controllable or safe SUV out there. I would never purchase another SUV.
