I LOVE my Rabbit. I got this car as an early graduation present in high school. It's now a little over 6 years old and I've had no major problems with it. It's compact but doesn't feel tiny when inside. We can fit 5 college-aged adults easily.

Still loving the car
I had purchased the Rabbit right before I went to another city to go to college. When I was looking for a new car, I was mainly concerned on the gas mileage. Since I was traveling to another city and would be driving home fairly often, I wanted to have a car that could maintain the highway miles. One thing I loved about the Rabbit was how roomy the car was even though it was a two door. My parents sat in the back seat during the test drive and commented on how much room they still had. The car also felt heavy, which I liked because it made me feel more secure driving it. The car handled extremely well during turns and stops. The breaks responded quickly which is always a positive thing. The price that the car was selling for was also within my price range, and having the warranty was a major help. Since I am not familiar with fixing little things, having the warranty was a great burden that was lifted off my shoulders. The safety rating on VW was a great addition, as well as the airbags that were already equipped on the car. The car has been easy to handle and maintain.

Mixed Emotions
Great vehicle in terms of utility and being fun to drive. The 2008 VW Rabbis S is near Audi Level in terms of ride refinement and interior trim. Flexible enough to be fun driving around town as well as very comfortable with cruise control set on long road trips. This car would get 5 stars if not for mechanical hobgoblins. VW is a master of executing the Modern Hatchback.
