Overall, the Journey has been a fine car. It's been reliable getting us from one place to another, although we have not taken many long trips in it. Comfort is not great in this car. Although the cloth interior is comfortable, it is not so much for long rides over a few hours. There is, however, plenty of storage. We pack for three, including a toddler, and have no problems fitting all our stuff. We have only had one problem with reliability, and that was fixed after a recall. The problem was electrical and was actually pretty severe, but it's been fixed to the best of our knowledge. When it comes to how it drives, it's not awesome, but it's not bad. There is little pickup for getting onto the highway or maneuvering in traffic. It's just not a fast car, but it's not meant to be. That's not an expectation of ours, but it is something that may concern others. There aren't many bells and whistles, so bring your own entertainment. A DVD player is easily mounted behind the passenger's seat. Good luck.

I own a 2009 Dodge Journey. I bought it with 15 miles on it. Overall, it is a very reliable car. I have only had a few issues with the rotors needing to be replaced more frequently than a normal vehicle. Chrysler was very helpful at those times as I was in warranty. It is comfortable and offers ample leg room. I dislike the extra cooler option in the glovebox. It did not work well enough to use for that purpose, however.
