Gets very good mileage and rides well for such a short wheelbase. I was initially excited to try the Fiesta, and it handled really well from a handling perspective in taking turns and being zippy. It also got excellent gas mileage for one of my trips and overall was a comfortable ride. The challenge with the vehicle was the horrible power train. Between the engine and the transmission, it couldn't figure out what it wanted to do. This was especially horrible for a stop-n-go or heavy traffic situations such as one would face in a daily commute, the engine kept revving and the transmission kept changing, it was very indecisive. Overall, decent car once it has a refined or improved power train, until then avoid for your own sanity.

The KIA Spectra Model LX 2008 is a great car for those who wish for a simple vehicle to go from Point A to Point B with a few frills here and there. To start off, the car is great on gas. It has 23 city and 30 highway according to the paperwork from the dealership. The tank is about 14 gallons. But with careful driving and proper maintenance (tire pressure, avoid sudden starts and stops, etc.) I was able to get a wee bit more than what is advertised. Driving feels smooth and making turns with the wheel feel sharp and fluid. The standard brakes that came with the car lasted me close to 40,000 miles (with careful driving) and stops at a dime pretty quick when the brakes are slammed in an emergency (possible also due to the ABS kicking in). Overall, I believe the Spectra Model LX 2008 is a great car for someone who wants a vehicle that is decent with fuel efficiency, somewhat stylish, and just for basic transportation.
