The truck was built strong and lasts long. The cloth interior has held up well over the past 20 years, The truck has close to 200,000 miles and still runs strong. Some problems with the electrical system. Only have had to make minor repairs considering the truck is over 20 years old. This truck has been a great work truck, reliable and has stood the test of time.

The GMC is a workhorse! If you want a heavy duty 4x4, an old GM isn't a bad place to start. I really like the dependability of this truck. It rides very smooth. I just wished it got better gas mileage. I have driven a Chevy, Ford and Dodge and would rate this truck above all of these in all areas. It's also a great car you can drive daily. The 4.3 Liter V6 is a large V6 that is easy on the gas but powerful enough for what you want. Mine has a step on the side which I love. It provides great accessibility for the bed with one step. The interior is also great! Super comfy bucket seats, a working AM/FM radio and lots of leg space! What more could you ask for? I've had this old girl since 1981, and she definitely owes me NOTHING. I essentially bought her from my grandma when I was 18 and never looked back. Abused thoroughly in high-school, she now rests peacefully in my backyard, waiting for me to do a ground-up restoration.

My GMC Sierra HD 2500 has been a reliable truck throughout the time I've owned it. The transmission has been a good workhorse and has definitely showed it's teeth in pulling heavy trailers and boats without the occurrence of defect or issue. Sierra trucks are offered with different options for selecting a truck bed and cab. Mine is a crew cab with an extended bed. You can easily and comfortably fit most anything in the 8-foot bed. I've only experienced one breakdown in the entire time I've owned it - the fan belt frayed and became disengaged at the 14-year mark. The repair was completed in one day at a cost less than $200. I rate the Sierra 2500 HD with high marks and can confidently recommend this truck to buyers.
