The Kia Soul is a small car with a lot going on. Kia offers lots of options to make this car as nice and some of the other competition on the market. Back-up cameras, heated seats, cabin lighting, and leather seats. All the bells and whistles that one may want. The Soul boasts having more room, and it seems like it really isn't that little until you start to live with it. The lack of room in the cabin leaves you rubbing elbow with your passenger. The lack of cargo space has you leaving things behind on your road trip that you really with you would have had the room to bring with. There is not much passenger room, and the back seat is not fit for an adult. Small children would be very comfortable in the back but Grandma, not so much. Pets (dogs) are a good fit unless they are too big. If you have a larger dog, they will feel the ride is uncomfortable and have a hard time finding a place to sit. A dog crate takes up the entire cargo area in back. The ride itself is somewhat golf cart like. We knew this going in and were okay with it. Great for parking in any space. Road trips leave you will a sore back and bottom. Long rides are not as pleasant as they should be. The cost and look make it ok if you are only using it for around town and rent a car for long trips.

At first I wasn't sold on the Kia Soul because of the strange commercials with the hamsters driving the car. That stuck out to me when the salesman showed it to me but I put that aside because I was looking for a car that was great on gas mileage but also gave me room to stretch out my legs. The Kia Soul was the first one I test drove that day and I hate to fall on cliché but it clicked for me almost immediately. I tried out several other cars but they didn't resonate with me like the Kia Soul did. I gave it a few days thought before I came back and bought it. they were all too happy to set me up and they even gave me a honey of a deal. I can honestly say I have no regrets.
