The mini cooper brand is a wonderful company to purchase a car from. The aesthetic of the design is above all others. The car is as fun to drive as it looks. This fun comes at a price, the car and parts can get expensive to maintain.
Historia
The mini cooper car gets compliments from people all over the place. Drove it to the beach right after purchase and got into a conversation about it.
A Favor
The car has many nice features. The mini look and feel is well regarded and has a cult like following. If you enjoy the visual feel of the car you will most likely enjoy owning one.
En Contra
The car had several small problems in the months following purchase. Parts would break and need replacing. These were all covered by warranty but were an unnecessary hassle to replace.

I have owned this car for five years. I enjoy its size - it is a small, nimble car which makes it fun to drive. Although it is fun to drive, it is not the most reliable car I have owned. I have spent about $8k in repairs over the five years I've owned it. The car only has 67k miles, of which 30k were from me. In this time span major components of the vehicle such as timing chain and water pump have failed.

Any curvy road becomes fun to drive on !
A Favor
My favorite feature by far is the suspension. The design of the suspension is what gives the car its fun and spirited driving style. Without this it would be just like an other compact coupe.
