Volkswagen Golf is a great vehicle to have nowadays. I bought it in 2006, and still driving it and it feels completely like a new car! It has only 50000 miles on it throughout all these years. The car has a very smooth build to it. German quality promises a lot to you. The Interior materials are not that luxurious, no leather, just hard material. But it got a nice design. The red with blue led ups in the interior on the speedometer. It is fully automatic. Had no issues with this car what so ever! The engine is 1.6, 350 horse power, makes no noises, drives smoothly. The fuel consumption is moderate. Those are the Pros. Now onto the cons. Annoying honk when locking the car, and the breaks are too sensitive. The stereo inside doesn't have an AUX port, and nowhere to insert a flash drive to listen to music! The trunk is too small. No navigation system preinstalled. All and all it is a very nice German quality vehicle that will last long with comfort and reliability. Brand New car costs about 22-24 thousands of dollars, but I bought it used one for only 8 thousand and it felt like a brand new car.

The Volkswagen Golf was one of the best cars I have ever bought. It just works. It's that simple. It's not about the flashy features or anything like that but it works. Always. I have driven over 150'000 miles with this car already and I have had zero problems so far. Besides some oil changes and basic maintenance I have never done anything to this car and it runs as good as it did the day I bought it. For that price I don't think I could have bought any better car. Not only that but thanks to it being very fuel efficient I even save money on gas with this car. So I basically don't have maintenance cost, low gas costs and the car itself was cheap too. The negatives for me are that the center console is a bit small for my liking and the entertainment or computer system is definitely not perfect. It is rather slow at times and lags sometimes when you are using it. In addition the seats in the back are a bit small so if you are tall it can be quite tight back there.
