2006 Nissan Sentra - Shaky, at best
Our Sentra that was purchased used 3 years ago has been somewhat of a disappoint. Over the last couple of years we have dealt with transmission and clutch problems that have previously been worked on and keep recurring. We keep trying to pinpoint a specific issue, which may or may not have to do with a bad spark plug, and can't find the solution. We've gotten different responses from different mechanics. At this point, it might be cheaper to get another used (reliable) car instead of fixing up the Sentra. Not recommended.

A Favor
One positive is not having to spend much on gas. We do like the fact that it's a stick-shift.

Mechanical issues, computer issues and not much power.
2014 Nissan Sentra - Dependable and Fun
I really enjoy this vehicle. It is a new model compared with what I have driven in the past, and I can feel that it is modern. It looks modern and drives really well. Sometimes it feels like the brakes are a little strange, but overall, I have never had a problem with it and thoroughly enjoy it. I love the color it comes in and feel very cool while I am driving it.
Historia
I was driving over the mountain pass in the rain and it was pretty scary. I had never driven a front-wheel drive vehicle before, but we made it safely and I enjoyed the experience of taking my first long drive in it.
A Favor
This vehicle is a very smooth drive and has excellent gas mileage. It saves me about a hundred dollars a month off my previous vehicle in gas alone, so the financing was definitely worth it. I enjoy its sport mode and eco modes - they are interesting and help me choose my driving type for the day. I never hear any rattles, so the body and interior style seems to be extremely sturdy.
En Contra
The brakes sometimes respond a little strangely. I've only noticed it a couple times. Additionally, the tires it came with don't seem to be holding up very well. I wish that it had had better tires on it when I purchased it. But that isn't a huge concern as I would be replacing them eventually anyway.

The dealership was very appreciative and respectful. They were all very accommodative and catered to our needs. I enjoyed the place and the employees as well they were all very nice.
