The new Corollas leave much to be desired in the way of acceleration, speed and overall engine performance. When in comes to fuel mileage, however, I will confess that the Corolla is close to top shelf. I often find myself looking at the fuel gauge wondering when the last time I filled up was and being unsure because it was so long ago. The back-up camera is also very handy, as well. It saves a lot of time looking over the shoulders and checking all the mirrors (which I still do, just spend less time doing it). It takes away a lot of blind spots. The touchscreen dash display overall is a very convenient and innovative addition to the consumer vehicle. If I could sum up the Corolla on a 5-star basis, I would give it a 2.7. While the MPG does give it some credibility to me, I really dislike the weakness of the engine. And while I'm at it, I also hate the design of the oil filter and the difficulty that come with replacing it as an amateur.

I have a 2007 Toyota corolla which has been the by far the best car I have owned. Its silver with manual windows and its an automatic. Quality wise it is the best car for its price, I have had to do hardly any maintenance to it. It has 300,000 plus miles on it and it still runs like it was just purchased.
