I am the original owner of my truck and have loved it over the years. It has performed well over the last 10 years, with little maintenance needed. The quality has been great, with clean interior, solid bed and construction. I have taken my truck on several cross country trips with ease. Gas mileage is average/good. Some trucks definitely have worse. With gas prices being what they are today, this is a big plus.

I've wanted a new truck for almost my whole life. After saving my money and getting a good job I decided on the Toyota Tacoma. The outside of the car is wonderful. I love the hood scoop and the extended bed that I chose. The interior is very comfortable, with cloth seats (I live in the desert, so no leather for me!) and many storage areas. The cab seats four people comfortably, and has been great for extended trips. There are no blind spots, as there is a camera on the back that displays on the rear view mirror. This has helped me back out of tight spaces on more than one occasions. I have yet to have any issues with the truck. I have had the oil changed twice in the year I've had it. The gas mileage isn't bad for a truck, usually around 18-20 depending on where I am driving. It is great for off-roading, as it is 4 wheel drive and has a high suspension. The only problem is that sand and mud shows up immediately on the dark gray exterior. I am also impressed by the braking capabilities, as I have had to brake on wet surfaces and had no issues. My truck also accelerates with no strain, and could beat smaller flashier cars if I wanted to.
